They also work on a preventative basis to help maintain mobility and flexibility. They often work alongside the osteopathic team to maintain patient well-being.

Some of the common reasons people may have massages are to relieve muscle strain and tension, aid sleep, improve mood and well-being, and relieve tension, everyday anxiety and stress.

If you are unsure which treatment you need, please feel free to call our friendly team who will be happy to advise you.

Remedial Massage combines general massage with deep tissue techniques. It can be used to treat both superficial and deep tissues.

Clinical Massage uses stretching, joint mobilisation, fascial stretching, trigger point work and generalised massage. This is used to enhance mobility, relax muscles and reduce tension

Remedial and Clinical Massage are our most popular massage treatments. They are suitable for people of all ages and levels of activity.

Lymphatic Drainage Treatment involves gentle, flowing, rhythmic massage techniques which can be of benefit to a range of physical conditions. The massage movements may help to encourage removal of metabolic waste products and ease oedema from tissues via the lymphatic system. This can be of benefit in helping problems such as tissue oedema, congestion, sprains and strains, sinuses issues, headaches, digestive aliments and pre and post-surgery. It is commonly used in post-cancer treatments where odema is a problem.

Please note-half of the initial appointment time is spent on assessment and consultation and half on treatment. Subsequent sessions involve a brief recap and assessment, with the remaining time being hands-on treatment.

This treatment is mostly for people involved in sports.

Muscles that have been worked hard can become sore and tight and this makes them more prone to injury.

A regular sports massage in Worthing West Sussex can loosen muscles, increase flexibility and lessen chance of injury. Recovery from injury can also be speeded up and scar tissue is broken down with treatment.

Pre and post-event massage is popular amongst sports people for these reasons.

The technique involves massage of the face, head, shoulders, arms, neck and upper back. It is carried out in a seated position and can be given through light clothing, or directly onto the skin using essential oils.

Indian head massage is suitable for all ages. If you would prefer not to have the technique done directly to the skin, please wear loose clothing.

It is advisable to remove any makeup prior to treatment.
