Susan Bunce, Broadwater Osteopaths, Worthing, Sussex

Practitioner Information

Sue’s interest in osteopathy started at the age of 14 after she spent time shadowing various local osteopaths, chiropractors and physiotherapists. The nature of osteopathy, as a holistic therapy, soon advanced as her preferred career and having been inspired by Michael Morris and Diane Cantrell at BOP, she went on to study at the prestigious British School of Osteopathy in London.

Sue graduated in 1998 and joined BOP in 2000, following 2 years working in Hove.  In 2015 She took over management of BOP, following the retirement of Michael Morris and is dedicated to continuing his success and hopefully inspire future generations of potential osteopaths too.

As well as working as an osteopath, Sue holds qualifications in remedial, hot stone and Indian head massage. She uses gentle manipulation, articulation of the joints and soft tissue release techniques to optimise musculoskeletal function.

Sue works with her patients, to educate and inform them on the best ways to maintain good health and prevent painful problems developing. As part of her degree, she completed a two year dissertation on the effects of stress and anxiety in musculoskeletal pain and has a keen interest in this field.
