Practitioner Information
Caroline graduated with a BSc hons from Greenwich University in March 2019 after studying for 3 years at the internationally renowned International College of Oriental Medicine. She has extensive training in Classical Acupuncture, including moxibustion and cupping and is also qualified in Swedish massage, which may be used as part of the treatment. As a registered member of the British Acupuncture Council, Caroline adheres to their strict codes of practice and conduct, ensuring safe and vigilant practice.
Caroline is passionate about increasing her knowledge in the vast discipline of Chinese Medicine and attends Continued Professional Development courses in order to gain more theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Dedicated in her attempts to improve whole body wellness, Caroline has a particular interest in striving to reduce the impact of mood disorders and mental health issues via treating physical symptoms.
In October 2019, Caroline volunteered for the small charity Nepal Pain Relief, working in the Dolakha district of Nepal. She gained invaluable experience and administered in excess of 220 treatments in just 11 clinic days. She worked as a GP receptionist and administrator for 8 years in her 20’s, prior to becoming a mother to her now teenaged daughter. Caroline has a keen interest in reducing the need for bio-medication where appropriate, safe and with permission from her patients’ physician. When not working, Caroline is a keen gardener and horse rider.
