Mindfulness and Relaxation

What have you done today to make you feel calm?

Mindfulness and relaxation techniques can have a positive effect on body as well as mind.

They can be useful tools to learn to enable us to find peace and calm, even when everything around us appears not to be. Using these techniques, even for a few minutes a day to start with and then slowly building on this time, can make a big difference to our lives.

The practice of mindfulness has been going for many years now. It looks to pay attention to the present moment without any judgement. So often in life we look at the past and at the future, but do not focus as much attention on the right here and now. A lot of worries are based on what if’s and maybe’s, but if we look at what is happening right here and right now, this can have a more calming, grounding effect.

Take a few moments a day to simply be here and in the now. Why not look these 2 apps and see if you too can benefit from mindfulness practice.
